David Michael Kelliher, Age:68

David Kelliher, 68, passed away at home with his wife of 30 years, Yvette (nee Barajas), by his side. David’s interest in art guided his education choices, ultimately earning him a Bachelors degree from Northern Illinois University. His compassion for animals led to his initial career experience working at Brookfield Zoo in Chicago.

He went on to become a professional graphic artist who always found time to craft unique art for Miranda and his other family members.

Rest in peace David…

Very sorry to hear about Dave's passing. He was always a good friend during our Brookfield Zoo days and beyond. We lost touch over the years, but I will remember him as always making me laugh, and very caring and helpful (especially during a difficult time in my life). And what a rare talent as an artist! Goodbye my "brother".
