Patricia (Rizzo) Jordan, Age:99

Patricia (Rizzo) Jordan, almost 100, passed away peacefully on November 18, 2023.  Patricia was born December 5, 1923, in Chicago where she lived.  Daughter of the late Leonardo and Benedetta Rizzo.  Beloved wife of the late Irvin C. Jordan and loving mother to Kenneth (Cathy), Wayne, Bryant (Dorota), Bennett (Cheryl) and Curtis (Tamara).  Proud grandmother to Brandon (Elizabeth), Erin (Kent), Colin, Danielle (Jordan), Paige, Jessica, Matthew, and Nicole, as well as step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Married in 1943 to Irvin until his death in 2003. 

She is survived by her sister Francis (Vince) Mathe and Joseph (Caroline) Rizzo.  She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Salvator and Leonard Rizzo.  Patricia will be remembered for her spunk and strong attitude.  She was a tough woman who loved to walk, shop, and go on site-seeing drives.  She enjoyed her friends and activities at Portage Park and most recently at Autumn Green.

A visitation for Patricia will be held on Monday, November 27, 2023, from 4-8pm at Olson Burke-Sullivan Funeral and Cremation Center, 6467 N. Northwest Hwy, Chicago, IL 60631.  A Mass will be held the following day at 11:30am, on November 28, at Immaculate Conception Church, 7211 W Talcott Ave., Chicago, IL 60631. Interment to follow at St. Adalbert Cemetery Chapel.

Ken, Wayne, Bryant, Ben and Curtis, I am so sorry to hear about Aunt Pat's passing. She was a great lady. I remember her being fiesty, loving and always wanting to feed us; and boy did we eat!
