Nora (Eleanor) Gander, Age:82

Eleanor “Nora” Gander nee Stafiej, 82, formerly of Prospect Heights and Chicago, passed away February 14, 2015. Loving mother of Leonard (Julie) Augustyn, Sharon (Steve Hanson) Nafea, and Glenn (Patricia) Mendoza; cherished grandmother of Tiffany (Darin) Hoeger, Alfred (Yolanda) Rodriguez, Glenn Jr. (Jessica) Mendoza, and Emily (Tom) Langone; adored great-grandmother of Naomi Rodriguez, Violet Hoeger and Jack Mendoza; fond sister of Adeline “Dela” Sidor; dear aunt of many nieces and nephews. A memorial visitation will be held Saturday, February 21st, from 10:00 am until the time of the memorial service at 12:00 pm at Olson Burke/Sullivan Funeral and Cremation Center, 6467-77 N. Northwest Hwy. (one block north of Devon), Chicago. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Alzheimer’s Foundation of America, www.alzfdn.org. Info 773-774-3333.
